The story of Patrick the Miracle Dog went viral in March 2011, after he was found by building workers in a garbage chute. But through the help of kind people, the dog has fully recovered.
The story touched many people, as photos of the starving pit bull were spread online. The dog was rushed to Associated Humane Societies’ Newark Animal Shelter.
It was learned that the poor dog was abused by its owner, who left him for dead, just skin and bones. Kisha Curtis pleaded guilty to fourth-degree animal cruelty.
