As people, we often have the ability to laugh at ourselves. It is something that we can take advantage of, because having a good sense of humor about our own lives allows us to relax and enjoy what life has to offer, rather than stressing over the details. Sometimes, however, life seems to throw many things at us in rapid fire succession and then we have to make a choice. Do we laugh at it or do we allow it to ruin our day?
As a Brit, I have seen my fair share of news about my homeland in recent months. Some of it has been good, I’ll agree, but far too much of it has been news that many of us would like to put behind us and forget (think Euro 2016).
