Doug Seegers used to sing in the streets in Nashville; nobody listened. Now, he is a singing superstar, especially in Sweden.

Jobless at 62, Seegers plays the guitar and sings his own original song, “Going Down to the River”. Swedish country singers Jill Johnson and Magnus Carlson spotted his amazing singing talent.
The former carpenter was brought to Sweden and recorded an album. He was featured on Swedish TV show ‘Jills Veranda’ and is now a famous singer in the country
