There are many different modes of transportation but one that many of us appreciate is bicycling. Not only is it environmentally friendly, it is also great exercise and a lot of fun as well. There’s nothing quite like watching the world go by when you are riding on a bicycle, and you feel a little more connected than riding in the car.
If you are somebody that seeks out interesting places to ride your bike, you are certain to appreciate this unique bicycle path in Poland. It glows in the dark, so even if you are riding on the path at night, you’re going to have a great time doing so! The path is located near Lidzbark Warminski in the North of Poland.
During the day, the synthetic material that makes up the bike path soaks up energy from the sun but it is when the sun goes down that the magic actually occurs. During the nighttime, the entire bike path glows in the dark and it can continue to glow for up to 10 hours. Hopefully they will continue to develop this idea and implement it in other areas of the world.
