Meet Anderson Pooper, a female disabled dog named after the famous CNN anchor. She competed in the 19th Annual STAR 101.5 Wiener Dog Races.
The wheelchair bound dachshund from Seattle joined the dog race at the Emerald Downs in Auburn, Washington, held on July 13, 2014.
The 7-year old dog is paralyzed on her back legs. Her owners Dave and Brenda Sizer provided her a cart so she can still run just like any dog.
The disabled dog did not win, but she definitely won the hearts of the spectators.
