Eldad Hagar is known for being the co-founder of Hope for Paws, a dog rescue organization. He also rescues other animals, though.
But one time, his navigator led him to the wrong road in Negev Desert. Then, he saw the poor donkey with its front leg tied with a rope to a post.
Eldad immediately called his friend from Pegasus, an Israeli horse sanctuary, and waited for two hours.
When the rope was removed from the post, the injured animal did not at once realize he is now free.
