We tend to keep all of our pictures digitally these days. We have them backed up on hard drives and we often thumb through them on our phones, but it wasn’t all that long ago that things were different.
Just a few decades ago, if you wanted to look at family pictures, you had to dig out the old family album. Some of those pictures really sparked a lot of nostalgia but others were perhaps better left out of the album altogether.
Admittedly, getting the entire family together for a photograph is a little more than most of us would have bargained for. Then again, if we do get them together, it’s not necessarily going to make a Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph.
