If you listen to any type of conversation, you are quickly going to hear it turn from whatever it happens to be at the time to a conversation about weight loss. It seems as if people are absolutely obsessed with losing weight and they will go to any lengths to attempt to lose weight. At one moment, they may be trying a low carbohydrate diet and the next day, they may decide to go on a juice fast. It seems to be a never-ending cycle for these individuals and although they love to talk about losing weight and dieting, very few are able to do so successfully.
If you have never attempted to lose weight and experienced the difficulties that ensue, you may not realize how real the struggle happens to be. Millions of people around the world, however, would quickly let you know that the struggle is real and it is something they may have to put up with on a regular basis. It seems as if yo-yo dieting is in, and it is something that many people take part in on a regular basis. As they struggle, they also need to keep at least a little bit of a sense of humor so they don’t totally lose it when they lose their willpower and go off of their diet.
In the end, we have to admit that humans are nothing more than eating machines. We were born to eat and unfortunately, we often take that past time far too seriously.
