When it comes to designing stairs, it appears that it’s much harder than one might think. It turns out that any flaw in the execution could lead to some embarrassing trips or even worse, a severe fall.

For most of us used to walking up and down stairs all day, we’ve probably never thought about if the design was up to snuff. However, once you’ve cast your eyes upon these obscenely bad stair designs, you may develop a whole new appreciation for those boring, functional stairs you take for granted each day.
