86-Year-Old Grandma Does A Web Search And Someone From Google Gets Back To Her Personally

We have many reasons to love our grandmothers, and for many of us, some of our fondest memories involve the times we spend with them. Of course, things have changed over the years and today, grandmothers are not only baking cookies and giving hugs, they are using the internet as well.

Although you probably have a story or two about your own grandmother, you can’t help but love what happened in this story. It came to light when her grandson, Ben John, logged onto her computer. He then found out that his 86-year-old grandmother, May Ashworth, had been doing something unusual.

The message went viral and was retweeted over 11,000 times. When Ben asked his grandma why she had written such a polite query he got an even better answer.

As it turns out, he thought someone at Google was sitting on the other end of the line, answering the questions people typed into Google. She thought if she asked nicely, they would hurry things along.

Eventually, Google found out about the tweet and sent her a personal response.
