Ryan O’Shaughnessy stunned everyone when he sang his own song “No Name” during the Britain’s Got Talent audition in 2012.
O’Shaughnessy, 19, from Dublin, told Simon Cowell he wrote the song for a girl he secretly liked for years. He said he has never played the song to her.
Despite being pressured by Simon and fellow judge David Walliams, Ryan did not reveal her identity. Later, the mystery girl was identified as Katie Lucia Keegan.
Ryan O’Shaughnessy landed 5th on BGT Finals. He and Katie remained friends.
Nevertheless, his audition song is indeed very romantic 🙂
