Japanese people are known to be polite and thankful. For Japanese drivers, they have their own way in saying ‘Thank you’ without saying a word.

In Japan, a driver blows his car horn to signal you that they’re letting you in. In return, if you give them space, they will flash their hazard lights, as a way of saying “Thank you.”
