Ricky Spalding, a janitor at the Anderson County High School in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, receives a surprise gift from staff and students.
This is after the school learned that Ricky has not seen his son in Italy for more than a year. He has not even met his new grandson.
So, during a pep rally in the school gymnasium, school principal Chris Glass jokingly called the janitor to clean a mess. To his surprise, Ricky saw a pile of cash in the “trash can” amounting to $1,900.
