Russell celebrated his 73rd birthday last year, and that is one to remember. It was on his 70th birthday, however, when she posted a tribute to her partner. Kate Hudson also did so for the man whom she calls ‘Pa’.
Hawn and Russell have four children together as a blended family, with one biological child in the mix. They are grandparents to seven grandchildren at this time with one baby being born in 2021. Every milestone they experience is experienced together and they show that it is possible to have a loving relationship for the long term.
One thing that Goldie Hawn says about Kurt is the fact that he still makes her feel beautiful. That is something that is very important in a relationship, but there is one thing that tends to stick out of people’s minds.
There have been many who asked why they never got married and it has been the discussion of many interviews. They feel that it may be the decision that helped to keep the relationship going.
Instagram is where Goldie Hawn posted a video about the couple joking over a marriage proposal. It highlights the warmth they have in the relationship, as it was captioned: “Happy birthday baby! What a wild ride. No, we never got married but one thing that continues to grow is our love. You’re a wild one, brilliant, lovable, childlike, perfectly maddening, a father supreme and deeply funny!”
It’s amazing to think that the couple has been together for so many years and a sentiment such as that only shows that they are sticking with the relationship from this point forward as well.
Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell’s stepdaughter also gave a birthday wish to her ‘Pa’. It was an old photograph of the entire family and Hudson said that Russell was very important in her life. She captioned it, “I’m gonna gush cause I don’t often about this man but I figure since today he turns 70 I’m gonna let it out. Plus he’ll never see this 😂 ”
Likely, that last sentence was because he doesn’t have an official profile on Instagram but she still let him know how she felt.
She said: “He’s a pick up your boot straps kinda dad. Don’t cry, shake it off you’re ok, kinda dad. Don’t let ‘em push you around you got this, kinda dad. Her birthday tribute continued: “His laugh will echo through generations as powerful as his concocted stories of grandeur that may or may not be true (may we never know). He’s an original. One of kind. A powerful, intelligent, talented, loyal family man. He has taught me that we can all exist with immense love through our differences. And his dedication to my mother and their fight for love forever is as admirable as it gets.
