In the United States, reports about clowns abducting people and causing issues have been circulating for a number of weeks. We have even seen videos of clowns carrying knives in a park! It seems as if the craze of evil clowns is now come across the ocean and has landed square in the UK!
Police in Northumbria have reported that 6 different clown incidents have occurred. In those cases, the clowns were scaring schoolchildren and those children were understandably in much distress. Although no one has been hurt in one of these clown attacks, it is something that could leave a lasting mark on the children mentally.
I don’t know about you, but I’ll be avoiding these clowns whenever possible.
It’s all fun and games until somebody loses a rubber nose.
According to a Northumbria police inspector: “The people carrying out these pranks may think they’re being funny but it is leaving a number of young people incredibly distressed. We are keen to identify those people who are dressing up as clowns so we can speak to them about their conduct and establish whether any criminal offence has taken place.”
