For decades, the idea has been to go for something bigger and better when it comes to living arrangements. This has led to several difficulties, including credit problems, an inability to keep up with maintenance and unhappy lives. There have also been many people who have lost their homes as a result of being unable to keep up with them.
In more recent years, however, there is a shift in people’s thinking that is taking us back to where we were 50 years ago. It is a shift toward smaller homes, and in some cases, to very tiny homes that are small but extremely livable! That is the case with this tiny home.
A Masterpiece on One Floor – Jeremy and Lindsay Weaver live in this tiny home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Originally, it was a gooseneck trailer but it has been converted into something quite awesome.
Although most “tiny homes” include multiple floors, this one is only a single floor.
It May Be Small but It Is Spacious – Most regular size homes do not include the amenities that are available in this tiny home. Although most people would feel that it was cramped at 276 square feet, you would not feel it if you are standing inside of it. That is due to the design that makes the most out of the available space. In fact, Jeremy is 6 1/2 feet tall and he fits comfortably in this home! On the outside, the home features multicolored logs that give it a rather unique design.
Many Modern Features – Inside of this tiny home are many modern features. Throughout the home is dark tile floors and the countertops in the kitchen are dark stone. In order to make the most of the bathroom size, a special shower has been installed with a tub below the floor of the shower. Electricity and running water are available in the home, making it a livable space. They even have a washer and dryer!
A Beautiful Masterpiece – Every finishing touch has been considered to give this home a contemporary feel. High-quality materials were used for that purpose. The dark stone floor and medium tone woods provide a natural pallet that pleases the senses. Although this may be a tiny home, it is extremely impressive!
