A man in South Africa showed some human kindness and helped an owl who was injured. Over the course of a few months, the bird was able to recover fully but now it was accustomed to living in the man’s home and had even befriended the family cat.
As the man was working on his computer one evening, the owl flew in the window carrying a dead mouse. It was then that the bird “offered” the mouse to each of the individuals in the house. This turned out to be the start of a new tradition. Every time the owl returns home at night, it brings presents for the family.
