There is something about horses that just seems to speak to people. I don’t know if it is because of their large size or perhaps because of their splendor, but in any case, humans certainly do have an ongoing love of those animals. The same could also be said about brain teasers and riddles. When you combine the two? It is perfection.
This painting is beautiful and most of us would love it, even before we knew the story behind it. The horse on the beach certainly does make a nice view, but there is something else hiding in the picture. If you look closely, you will see a number of horses hiding in the background as well.
