When most of us think about owning a pet and having them live inside of the home, our thoughts automatically turn to a dog or a cat. If we are looking for something exotic, perhaps we may consider a guinea pig, but would you consider having a rabbit live in the home with you? Many people do!
Wally is an adorable angora rabbit who has a rather unusual trait. His ears look like angel wings! Fortunately, Wally’s humans decided they were not going to keep this unusual look to themselves so they began posting pictures on Instagram. Since then, he has become an Internet sensation.
Angora rabbits are one of the oldest types of domesticated rabbits and they have been grown for their soft, long wool. They first showed up in what is present-day Turkey, but then they became quite popular in France in the 18th century. Their fur is softer than Cashmere but they are also popular as a pet because they look like an adorable teddy bear or puppy.
