Introducing Mac: Budweiser Welcomes A Baby Clydesdale To Their Family

Budweiser is known for their beer and in the United States, they are even the best selling beer by a long shot. Thanks to their long history and some clever advertising, their name has become synonymous with country, home and strength. They are also known for something else, Clydesdale horses.

Ever year, Budweiser runs a superbowl commercial and they often picture these classic horses. The clydesdales are also used in their promotions across the country.

Those clydesdales get their start at Warm Springs Ranch, where 160 of those majestic animals live. They recently welcomed a new addition to the group, Mac, and he is absolutely adorable.

Not only is Mac the newest addition, he already has plenty of support on Social Media. Many people want him to be featured on the commercial during the next superbowl.

The brewing company behind Budweiser is Anheuser-Busch. They first started using Clydesdales in their advertising campaigns in 1933.

August A. Busch Jr and Adolphus Busch, the cofounders of the company, gave their father the first clydesdales as a gift when prohibition ended. Since then, they have been the main stars in beer ads. Their appearance is quite heartwarming and many of us have come to love them.

Although the Clydesdales live in St. Louis, MO, they can be found on various “teams” pulling wagons during promotional tours.

Mac is the newest member and he is absolutely beautiful.

“Mac’s name is a nod to the iconic legacy of the Budweiser Clydesdales, the most macro of all icons, representing Budweiser’s quality for more than 80 years,” said Anheuser-Busch in a statement.

Many fans want to see him on the commercial this year. We wish him lots of health and success.
