An Elephant Looses His Mum So This Ostrich Snuggles Him So He Will Feel Better

If there is one thing I know about friends, it’s the fact that there really are no limitations. They come in almost every shape and size that you could possibly imagine and at times, they even go beyond what could ever be expected. That was the case with Jotto the baby elephant, who was separated from his herd when he was only one month old. He was taken in by rescuers and put with other elephants at an elephant orphanage in Kenya. As it turns out, however, his BFF would be a “horse of a different colour.”

Pea is an ostrich who was rescued in 2014. They found this bird and her brother, Pod, and took them to the animal shelter. Eventually, Pod was returned to the wild with other ostriches but Pea was perfectly happy to stay with the elephants.

As it turns out, Pea believes she is part of the elephant herd and Jotto is perfectly happy to give her a good cuddle every now and again.
