Those of us who have dogs understand exactly how incredible they can be. They are our personal heroes each and every day and are there for us through thick and thin. At times, however, a dog may go above and beyond the call of duty in their bravery and loyalty. That is what happened with this animal, as it became a true hero when a house caught fire.
Firefighters got in the home and rescued the two adults without too much difficulty but there was still a two-year-old and a four-year-old child trapped inside. Out of nowhere, the family dog, Maxx, stepped in to save the day.
Maxx is a German Shepherd and he helped to guide the firefighters through the house directly to the children. Both of those children were safely taken to the nearest hospital and everyone in the family, including Maxx, is making a full recovery.
The family lost their home but, thanks to the loyalty of their brave dog, they didn’t lose the most precious things to them.
