Caitlin Brassington is a nurse who lives in Queensland, Australia. She came across an old acquaintance and the two of them had a brief conversation. That acquaintance was quite surprised to see that Caitlin was in her nurse uniform, and she couldn’t help but comment on the matter.
Like many people who are nurses, she tended to work behind the scenes so the acquaintance was not familiar with the fact that she worked in the profession. She then said the words that started this entire conversation, the fact that she didn’t realise that Caitlin was “just a nurse.”
When Caitlin got home that day, she thought long and hard about what that person had said and she decided to share something with others.
