What is the first thing that comes your mind when you think about sheep? For many people, it is an cute little critter that hops around and has an adorable face. For others, they think about the wool that comes from sheep and the fact that, in many parts of the world, they are a common site. What most people don’t think about, however, is Valaise Blacknose Sheep.
The Valaise Blacknose Sheep are raised primarily for wool and they come from Switzerland. They are most unusual, especially in the way that they look. In fact, there is quite an ongoing debate about whether these sheep are cute or if they are just a little bit frightening. It is not the fact that they have an incredible amount of wool, it is their dark faces that really throws people.
Their faces are not only dark, they are practically impossible to see. While some people may find it adorable, others are having a difficult time with this particular breed of sheep. What is your opinion? Check out the following pictures to see.
