Floreen and Ed Hale were married for 60 years. The couple was inseparable, even death couldn’t separate them.
Floreen Hale, 82, was confined at the United Methodist Medical Center in Batavia, New York due to congestive heart failure and was in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Ed was rushed to another hospital due to kidney failure, 36 miles away from Floreen. He requested to be with her.
The elderly couple was put in two separate beds in the same room, holding each other’s hands.
Floreen died on February 7, 2014, 36 hours before Ed passed away.
