As the Christmas season gets into full swing, there are going to be some things that we see on a regular basis. That is especially true if we spend any amount of time out looking at Christmas lights. Some people go all out, decorating their home with strings of coloured lights and perhaps even putting up a nativity scene.
In Santa Catarin, a small town in Brazil, visitors to this nativity scene were treated to a special sight. They had everything set up and it was just too comfortable of a scene for this homeless puppy to ignore. Right in the middle of the scene you can see the German Shepherd puppy taking a nap. It must have looked like a very inviting spot to curl up for the evening.
The German Shepherd was curled up in the manger, looking as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, he was a stray, so this temporary home was just a stopover on his travels.
He did, however, pull in a crowd and one kind family decided to adopt the dog and give him a forever home.
These snapshots are from 2008, but they still go viral every year at Christmas. We hope he has lived a long and happy life in his new home.
