Below is the video of a machine that collects empty plastic bottles and releases food and water for stray dogs.
This brilliant idea in Istanbul was introduced by the Turkish company named Pugedon. The recycled plastic bottles pay for the dog food.
Once someone deposits their empty plastic bottle inside the Pugedon Smart Recycling Boxes, it releases dog food and water. There is also a container for leftover water for users.
There are currently around 150,000 stray dogs and cats in Istanbul. Therefore, the machine is hitting two birds in one stone.
