Taylor, then 13 years old, was killed in a ski accident in Colorado. Todd and Tara Storch, Taylor’s parents, decided to donate her organs to save the life of others.
Six months after, Todd and Tara heard Taylor’s heartbeat again. This is after the Storch couple met with Patricia Winters from Arizona, the 42-year old woman who received Taylor’s heart.
