Since 2012, World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is being observed every March 21st of the year, as officially declared by the United Nations General Assembly.
In March 2014, a couple of people with Down syndrome in Germany and those who work with them participated in the music video.
But while the mood of the video is about being happy, Down Syndrome International is reminding us that Down syndrome “does not make a person unhealthy.”
So true.
