In February 2013, Billy Ray from Missouri found a diamond engagement ring in his change cup. The panhandler learned from a jeweler that it is worth $4,000.
But because he has a golden heart, he returned it to Sarah Darling, who accidentally dropped it on the beggar’s cup.
Sarah raised a fundraising campaign, with total donations reaching more than $191,000.
