Four months before her wedding, Shannon Jones was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system. Her wedding went well, and she ended up being a beautiful bald bride.
Jones, 27, of Redding, Connecticut, did not allow cancer to shatter her dreams. Her hair was falling in the middle of her chemotherapy appointments, and her doctor suggested that the wedding be postponed.
But she requested her doctor to make some adjustments in her treatment schedule so she would feel healthier on her wedding day, which happened in July 2013.
