On February 17, 2014, Milwaukee Brewers found the dog wandering in their training facility in Phoenix, Arizona. They decided to adopt him after his owner could not be found.
The bichon frise mixed-breed, which was believed to be between 2 and 3 years old, was named Hank to honor Hank Aaron, a retired MLB player.
Hank the Dog became famous and is now the unofficial mascot of the Brewers.
