Perception of Physical Illness vs Mental Illness

Everybody has an opinion but at times, the opinion isn’t all that it should be. That is often the case when you are suffering with some type of physical malady, and you are likely to get some advice that is well meant. The same is also true when you are having emotional difficulties, and most people are more than willing to give you some advice for those problems as well!

The problem is, the type of advice that is given when you have physical problems is often much different than what you will get when you have mental problems. As the following cartoons will show you, it is always best if you think before you speak. After all, just because you can’t see an injury doesn’t mean that it isn’t there!
