It doesn’t matter who we are, we all need friends. They are there for us when we need someone to talk to and they share our ups and downs in life. A true friend will stick by your side no matter what, and they are much more than an acquaintance, they are a part of you in many ways. As you are about to see, this is not only something that happens with people, it can happen with animals and, at times, the most unlikely friendship forms.
These pictures were taken by a professional photographer from Germany. Included in the photos is Ingo, the Shepherd dog and Poldi, the owl. She truly captures what is going on between these animals, and that friendship is sure to last for a lifetime.
Some pictures can be staged, but you can’t make animals pose like this without having them feel comfortable around each other. It’s amazing to see the harmony that exists between these two and, although they are an unlikely pair, they seem to be stuck together like glue.
