A family went to a pet store to look at shelter kittens and then met a special kitten that would become part of their forever family. The father of the children were looking at the kittens when an assistant came over and said they had one particular kitten that needed a home.
While they were waiting for the kitten to arrive, the father asked her a few questions about caring for kittens because he had never had one before. When they returned with the tabby cat in a tiny sock sweater, it was love at first sight.
The 3-4 week tabby kitten had been brought in during the storms of Hurricane Matthew. The assistant said: “When I first saw her I had to fight off the temptation to take her home myself. This kitten was so soft and precious, and the guy’s kids were really awed by her.”
He talked to his wife about buying the kitten and then a few minutes later, they had their new family member cradled against them and they were shopping for cat supplies.
