Dogs are wonderful animals but when it comes to depth perception, they typically come up lacking. At times, the biggest dog will still think he is just a little puppy and he will take any opportunity to curl up on your lap. They simply refuse to admit the fact that they are too large, and most humans are all too willing to oblige.
There is also something else that is interesting about larger dogs. People who don’t have one may tend to shy away from them. It is true that a big dog can look somewhat menacing but on the inside, they are usually all heart. All it takes is a few moments to get to know a bigger dog and before you know it, they are rolling over on their back and demanding a belly rub.
Large or small, dogs fill our lives with something that would otherwise be missing. They provide us with unconditional love and they are there for us, regardless of whether we are up or down. Let’s take a look at some of the larger dogs that become a part of our families, and see how they refuse to give up puppyhood.
