David Bahnson is a man who loves being out on the water in his Kayak. He also loves his dogs, and he found a way to combine those loves and enjoy them both at the same time. He modified the kayak in a rather interesting way.
His dog, Susie, was able to fit in the baggage compartment but then his wife got another dog, named Ginger. He knew exactly what he needed to do. He put another hole in the kayak, so it is now a triple kayak. There may not be enough room for paddlers to put their feet, but the dogs are quite comfortable. In fact, they’ve never jumped out into the water.
When David got a second Golden retriever, he saw that there wasn’t enough room in his Kayak for both dogs.
He customized the kayak to create a third seat for the new dog.
