Holly is similar to many homeowners. In her Louisiana home, she has security cameras set up to keep her property safe. When reviewing the footage, she saw a boy sneaking inside of her garage. She didn’t know who he was but she saw him leave his bike behind on the payment and run toward the dog, Duchess. She certainly wasn’t expecting what she saw next.
Nobody knew who the boy was so Holly decided to use Facebook and post the surveillance footage. Within 24 hours, she found the boy’s identity. It’s easy to see why this is going viral.
Holly was viewing the footage from her security cameras when she saw something out of the ordinary. A little boy was sneaking into the garage, where her dog, Duchess, was sitting.
He ran over to Duchess and gave her a wonderful hug then disappeared as quickly as he appeared.
Holy didn’t know who this young lad was, so she showed the footage on Facebook.
“Attn Neighbors! Anyone know who this sweet little boy is? Every now and then when he rides his bike he will quickly come and love on my dog or play fetch real quick, but always leaves quick like he doesn’t know if he should be here! I’d like to tell him he’s welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!”
The video went viral!
It took less than 24 hours before the little boy’s mother confirmed that it was her son, Josh, who was the dog hugger.
“Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn’t be on someone’s property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much.”
Now, people everywhere are falling in love with this story
Ginger and Josh are planning on adding a dog to their family soon. For now, however, Josh and Duchess will continue to enjoy some quality time with each other.
