Church Sign Accidentally Announces Chris Is Risen for Easter Sunday

There are certain things that should always be done when you are preparing for a big event. You should make sure that you have plenty of room available, adequate seating and that the food to feed the crowd is large enough so you don’t run out early.

According to this sign, it is also important to spellcheck as well.

A Baptist church in York, UK was preparing for their Easter activities on Sunday.

In preparation for the big event, they ordered 4 banners inscribed with the words “Christ is risen.”

Unfortunately, somebody forgot to spellcheck before pushing the order button.

Oops! Acomb Parish Church in York has been left short this Easter. More T vicar? Good News for Chris, though!

The church ended up with banners reading “Chris is risen,” and although we are sure that Chris is happy he is up today, it wasn’t exactly the message they wanted to share.
