We live in a world that certainly has no shortage of serious news issues, and it seems as if Iceland is weighing in with some news of their own. The president of that country has recently said that he would like to ban pineapple from being on pizza. The world is absolutely shocked over the situation!
It came about when he visited a high school in Iceland’s second-largest city. He was giving a talk and answering questions from the students. One of the students had the nerve to ask him for his view on how he felt about putting pineapple on pizza. His response is one that has left many people absolutely shocked!
It’s not only that he is against pizza, but he is so much against having pineapple on pizza that he even talked about having it banned. Of course, he is not able to make that type of a law on his own, and he was doing it in a joking manner, but he did make his stance known.
We don’t know if this is going to affect his approval rating, but it was at 97% before this took place. We will just have to see if it manages to plummet from this point forward.
