The month of October may mean different things to different people. For those who live in the colder areas of the world, it means a return to colder weather and perhaps even the autumn colours that everybody so much appreciates. For many people, especially for those of the younger generation, October also means that Halloween is almost here.
People celebrate Halloween in different ways. Some of them will decorate their home as much as they possibly can, including carving out a pumpkin to put on the front porch. Some of those carvings can be quite outrageous, but if you aren’t as creative as others or if you don’t have the artistic talent, maybe you should scale your jack-o’-lantern back to a certain extent.
When LisaShuBop uploaded her pumpkin carving to Reddit, people not only saw it as being awesome, they also saw it as being lazy. It is a minimalistic pumpkin project to say the least and as she puts it, it was “My kind of effort.” The fact that it is small really doesn’t matter to most people. The fact that it is charming, however, makes it quite popular.
