When it comes to being a father, there is almost nothing that we wouldn’t do in order to make our children happy. We make sure that we care for their physical needs but we also love them enough that we want to care for all of their mental and emotional needs as well.
Perhaps that is best illustrated in the following story. It seems as if a man had a job caring for his family and he would do some dangerous work in order to do it. As a lineman, he had a job of repairing power lines and he had to climb tall ladders at times in order to do so.
Of course, his children were interested in what he did and when his daughter found out that he was always climbing ladders, she wanted to ensure that he was safe. That is when she did something that is touching our hearts but what he did is making us believe again.
The little girl made her father some wings so that he would be safe, even if he was climbing up to high levels. Every time he goes to work now he wears those wings because that is what they were made for and he wants to do what his daughter wants him to do.
