Miley Cyrus Takes The ‘Google Translate Songs Challenge’ With Jimmy Fallon

If you happen to tune into the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, you are rarely ever going to be sorry for the time that you spent watching it. It’s not all about the celebrity and the fact that you get to take a peek inside of their personal lives because of the interviews that take place. That isn’t what Jimmy Fallon is all about. In fact, he is somebody who uses his creativity and originality in order to bring out the best in the celebrity guest stars, at times in the most unusual ways. That is what happened when Miley Cyrus was on the show back in 2017. They were sitting across from each other as if an interview was going to take place but Jimmy Fallon had something else in mind.

If you’ve ever used Google translate, you realize that it is a rather amazing tool but at the same time, it has its imperfections. That is where this unique game comes in. Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon take turns singing songs that have been run through Google translate into another language and then back into English again. They start out with Miley Cyrus singing Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and then moved to Jimmy Fallon singing “Superfreak”. They both do an excellent job of sticking with the lyrics from Google translate, even though I’m sure it was difficult not to laugh while they were doing it. A little laughter did happen, of course.

Miley Cyrus is a regular visitor on the Tonight Show and it seems as if she has a rather interesting friendship with Jimmy Fallon. It makes it even better, because they can enjoy themselves while they are sitting for the interview or the unusual skit. It takes the stress out of the situation and we often learn something that we didn’t know before about the celebrity.

Talk shows have always been interesting but today, it is more like a variety show that a talk show. We can be thankful, because it helps to make our evenings just a little bit better and our days funnier when we watch them on videos, such as the one you see below.
