A woman who married a life-size rag doll man says she now has a rag doll baby.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes, a 37-year-old woman from Brazil, said her mother created her a rag doll man named Marcelo after she voiced her frustrations over being single and having no one to dance with.
Soom Moraes and her doll reportedly began a romantic relationship ever since. After they were together a few months, Mores found she was “pregnant” and claimed:
It’s true, Marcelo got me pregnant. He didn’t take care of himself … He got me pregnant. I took the test — it was positive. I couldn’t believe it.
The woman and her doll married in a ceremony with 250 people in attendance.
She later told NTK about their big wedding day:
“It was a wonderful day for me, very important, very emotional. He is a man I always wanted in my life. Married life with him is wonderful. He doesn’t fight with me, he doesn’t argue and he just understands me. Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man and all women envy him.
When my mum made Marcelo and first introduced me to him, I fell in love with him. It was love at first sight.”
The couple welcomed their child-doll Marcelinho on May 21. The woman “gave birth” in only 35 minutes at home with a nurse and doctor reportedly on site. She live-streamed the event to her audience of 200 people, reports Jam Press.
While they are happy, Moraes does admit that her husband has a trait she has difficulty dealing with:
He has so many great qualities but the only downside is he’s lazy. He doesn’t work at all. But I am a warrior and I keep it going for us.
