There are times when we see things that are so unusual, we have to do a double take. More than likely, that was the experience of Robyn Malcolm, who was just south of Eden in New South Wales when she saw the most amazing sight!
Looking out across the water, she saw a seal, which would be unusual in and of itself but the fact is, it was riding on the back of a whale! All of this happened when a feeding frenzy was going on nearby and there was plenty to photograph. Although there were dolphins, whales, birds and seals that were all taking part in the frenzy, this took place right in the middle of it!
The funniest part was, she didn’t realize what she was taking a picture of until later that day!
In her words, there was so much going on with so many different animals that she was just amazed!
We are fortunate that she captured this most unusual sight.
