Meet Danny Nickerson from Massachusetts, the boy who received more than 30,000 birthday cards on his 6th birthday.
Nickerson, who turned 6 on July 25, 2014, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glimoma (DIPG) in October 2013.
Danny told his mother that he will be happy if he will receive cards with his name on them.
His story went viral, and the result was enormous. Thousands of birthday cards arrived from different parts of the world, including Australia, Kuwait, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, and Sweden.
Happy birthday, Daniel!
