A boy was rescued by a lifeguard from RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) at Crooklets Beach in Bude, Cornwall, in the UK. Below is the video of the dramatic rescue.
In July 2014, RNLI lifeguard Joby Wolfenden-Brown heard the young boy screaming for help while being dragged away in a very strong rip current.
The lifeguard immediately paddled out on a rescue board until he reached the boy and grabbed him up. The unnamed distressed boy was brought back safely to the shore.
Six other people were pulled from water earlier in the day after they became stuck in a rip current.
Amazing hero!
