You never quite know what is going to happen when a video gets posted online. For Thomas Moore, a young lad who was almost 8 years old, it started him on a course that is still inspiring people around the world. He saw his mother watching a video on Facebook about a girl who lost her hair because of cancer treatments.
So he decided to do his part and chip in. For two years, he grew his hair and then had it cut off so that children with cancer could have wigs. Since being posted online, it’s been shared over 50,000 times. Thomas Moore saw his mum watching a video about a girl who lost her hair when having chemotherapy treatments.
He was not yet eight years old but he decided to grow his hair for children who had lost their hair due to cancer.
And that’s what he did
He grew his hair for two years
In fact, he grew an incredible amount of hair
It was over 16 inches long
When he was finished, he had enough hair to make 3 wigs!
His aunt, Amber Ray, shared the story on Twitter.
