NYPD Blue Child Star Is Dead At 27

NYPD Blue was a top-rated television show. It was on from the late 1990s until the early 2000, and it really broke through in a number of different ways during the many episodes.

One of the show’s stars came later in the series, Theo Sipowicz. He was the son of Detective Andy Sipowicz, and was played by Austin Majors. Unfortunately, he has passed away.

It was confirmed by a source speaking to TMZ that Majors had died at the age of 27. He was in Los Angeles at a homeless facility when he was found on February 11, 2023.

They are still unsure what caused the death, but it is thought that it may be a fentanyl overdose. His family has also released a statement, saying:

“Austin Majors (Setmajer-Raglin) was an artistic, brilliant, and kind human being. Austin took great joy and pride in his acting career. From the time he was little, he never knew a stranger and his goal in life was to make people happy.”

His family talked about his education and childhood. They spoke about how he loved camping and fishing and was a Boy Scout. He had grown up in a small town.

They went on to talk about the horse he grew up riding and how much he loved his dog. He was an Eagle Scout when he graduated high school and ended up graduating from USC’s school of cinematic arts.

Majors sister also had the following to say:

“Austin’s younger sister, Kali, says her fondest memories with Austin were growing up on set with him, volunteering at events with ‘Kids With a Cause’, and backpacking together. Austin was the kind of son, brother, grandson, and nephew that made us proud and we will miss him deeply forever.”
