Nike’s Jordan Brand released a commercial titled “RE2PECT” on July 14, 2013. It paid tribute to Derek Jeter, who announced he is retiring after the 2014 New York Yankees season.
Among the personalities who appeared in cameo roles tipping their caps include former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, rapper Jay-Z, Spike Lee, and Billy Crystal.
Also included are athletes Maya Moore, Carmelo Anthony, Tiger Woods, Jeter’s former teammates Andy Pettite, Joe Torre, and Mariano Rivera… and of course, Michael Jordan.
New York Yankees fan or not, I’m sure you’ll also like this cool ad.
